QUALIFIED Cruise Heads to the LA Continental Shelf!

Haley Crawford accompanied the crew of the RV Pelican and the science party of the QUALIFIED cruise to sea in April. The cruise, led by Co-PIs Jeffrey Krause (DISL) and Brandi Kiel-Reese (USA) is an NSF-funded effort to quantify the effect of sediment microbial activity in facilitating silica sequestration during early diagenesis.
